Compliant with Historical International Design Standard. Utilized recycled steel and aluminum materials.

Visitors Control Center and Gatehouse > Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO
This 30,000 sf roofing project included removing asphalt shingles to substrate, installing Vguard vapor barrier to metal substrate, installing two layers of 2" ISO insulation, installing one layer OSB sheeting, clad guard underlayment and 22 gauge standing seam prefinished metal roof panels. The project also included gutters, downspouts, and repair of grid ceiling.
The project was completed during normal hours for building occupants and was coordinated around the children's' sleeping schedule, holidays, and weather delays. The contract was extended by the Government for the completion of 14 skylight replacements only on weekends while the building was unoccupied.
