What is the difference between a change order and a supplement?

A change order is a written agreement between the customer and Reliant Construction for any upgrades or extras that are not covered by the insurance claim and is paid directly by the customer.

A supplement is any damages found above and beyond the initial evaluation by the insurance adjuster.
Reliant Construction would then request a supplement from your insurance company to be issued for the newly found damage. Supplements are paid for by your insurance company and are not an out of pocket expense.

When can we start?

Once Reliant Construction has received a financial commitment, usually your deductable along with a signed contract, we will start on the preliminary work (such as permits, color selections, and ordering of materials, etc.).

When is my first payment due?

Your first payment is due upon receipt of your insurance check. This payment is not related to your deductable.

What does Preferred Contractor mean?

A Preferred Contractor is a contractor that is recommended and trusted by the insurance company.
